Overview

The UCCS Visiting Artists and Critics Series  continues its eighth season with a lineup of virtual presentations by artists of national and international significance with a goal to foster understanding and appreciation of contemporary art through dialogue and critical conversations.

For the 2020-2021 season, VACS has gone virtual and will be presented via Zoom Webinar format.

All public lecture events are always free and open to campus and community members, but registration is required.

The Visiting Artists & Critics Series is a collaborative program of the UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art (GOCA), UCCS Visual Arts and Art History programs. Artists and scholars to the UCCS campus to present public lectures and meet with undergraduate students in classes and workshop settings.
