Cabaret Club at Ent Center for the Arts Announces Upcoming Performances

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — January 8, 2025 – The Ent Center for the Arts in collaboration with UCCS Theatre & Dance is thrilled to announce its upcoming Cabaret Club performances, featuring a blend of music, dance, and theatrical innovation. The series will showcase the talents of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Aimee Mann and acclaimed choreographer and drag artist Chuck Wilt. 

Aimee Mann's "The Forgotten Arm" A New Musical in Development On January 23 and 24, 2025, Aimee Mann and a team of actors will present musical theatre version of her classic album, The Forgotten Arm, a tender and darkly comic tale of recovery, loss, and love. This stripped-down concert reading focuses on the story, music, and performances without elaborate sets or costumes, offering a raw and intimate experience. Created with playwright Jonathan Marc Sherman and directed by Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of New York City's Public Theater, the piece comes to Colorado Springs fresh from a workshop at Joe’s Pub in New York. Tickets are nearly sold out, reflecting high demand for this unique event. 

Chuck Wilt's "Infinity" Dance and Drag Variety Show Highlighting the Cabaret Club's commitment to diverse and avant-garde performances, San Francisco’s UNA Productions, led by Chuck Wilt (also known as Fuchsia), will present "Infinity," an intergalactic dance and drag variety show. Scheduled for February 14 and 15, 2025, "Infinity" promises a dazzling fusion of music, dance, and vibrant artistry, offering audiences an unforgettable experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional performance art.
