Free virtual reading Sunday October 17th at 4pm
What would be your perfect last meal? A chef struggles to show love to his dying father, when an uncle visits from Korea with a secret recipe. Love and loss intertwine with cooking in this beautiful play.
Each of our readings features a full cast of actors, who gather to rehearse with a director for fifteen hours, and then share the story with our audience via a live streamed reading.
The readings are made possible through Theatre Authority; all artists are compensated for their participation. The readings are absolutely free; donations welcome.
Aubergine content advisory: This play includes discussion of loss, illness, and death, as well as of food, love, and turtles. It includes subtitled dialogue in Korean. As every person is different, we do not usually offer age recommendations; however, we are always happy to talk with you if you have specific questions. Please email clowans@uccs.edu.
