LITTLE WOMEN
by Louisa May Alcott; directed by Caitlin Lowans
Free virtual reading April 11th at 4pm
Celebrate the beginning of spring and the dawning of new hopes with Louisa May Alcott's adored novel of family love. Meg, Beth, Amy and Jo triumph through joy, heartbreak and pickled limes, in a heart-warming new adaptation by Kate Hamill.
Each of our readings features a full cast of actors, who gather to rehearse with a director for fifteen hours, and then share the story with our audience via a live streamed reading.
The readings are made possible through Theatre Authority; all artists are compensated for their participation. The readings are absolutely free; donations welcome.
Little Women content advisory: This play includes lots of sisterly togetherness and swashbuckling imagination, as well as depicting illness and heartache. As every person is different, we do not usually offer age recommendations; however we are always happy to talk with you if you have specific questions. Please email clowans@uccs.edu.
